I have to apologize. It's been well over a year since I last wrote a post here. You may have wondered what happened to me, or you may not have noticed at all. At the very least I hope you remember who I am! I don't have a particularly meaningful excuse for being out of touch for so long. I'm just hoping you can understand that life gets busy and then all of a sudden, you realize that 14 months have flown by!

One of my fellow photographers recently invited our dance photography community to share a dance photo from our past. I went all the way back to 2009, 15 years ago, and found what was one of my very first.

The tiny dancer on the right is my oldest daughter, who is now 19 years old and pursuing a career in ballet in a big city far away from home. It's impossible to really understand where 15 years have gone. I lived through all of them, and yet I still ask the question "where did all the time go?" If you know the answer, please give me a call! Even without the answer, I'm happy that I can say I'm grateful for the experiences I've had and the relationships I've made in those 15 years, and that I'm also so very thankful that I have photos like these to remind me of them all.

As for the last 14 months, I've been creating photos with my amazing clients, documenting meaningful moments and reminding them of how beautiful they and their lives are. I've been creating new memories with my family as we go about our everyday adventures. And I've been looking forward to the next time my path will cross with yours in the future!
